It is more technical than most people expect. Mauritius has no marked trail network: the hikes cross wild, untouched nature. Every trail, even the easy ones, has steep, rocky or slippery sections, roots, river crossings and ground that changes after rain. Wear shoes with good grip and choose a tour that matches your fitness. Our guides know the trails and are trained in rescue.

Easy tours suit most people who can walk for a few hours. Moderate tours have climbs and rough ground. Hard tours are long and steep and need good fitness. Each tour page lists who it is not recommended for. Not sure? Message us and we will suggest a trail.

Yes, it depends on the tour. 7 Waterfalls, Short Loop: 6+; 7 Waterfalls, Medium Loop: 13+; Le Morne Brabant: 13+; Wild South, Gris Gris: 6+; 3 Mamelles Peak Hike: 13+; Mare Longue Waterfall: 6+; Fantasy Fall: 10+; Rioux Waterfalls: 5+; Highest Waterfall, Cascade 500 Pieds: 18+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Every tour includes a professional licensed guide, parking fees, and photos and videos of your experience. Hotel pick-up and drop-off is available on request.

Yes, on request. Add your hotel or area when you book and we will confirm the pick-up time and any cost before your tour.

You pay online when you book, through our secure checkout. You will receive a confirmation email straight away.

Weather in Mauritius changes fast. If your guide decides conditions make the hike unsafe, we will move your booking to another date or tour that suits you.

To change your date, message us on WhatsApp or by email and we will move your booking to another day if there is space. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour, with a full refund. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the start time, the full price is charged and there is no refund.

Online bookings join a small group, up to the tour’s group size. For a private tour, just for you and the people you choose, message us on WhatsApp and we will arrange it.

Children pay a lower price on most tours. When you book, choose the number of adults and children and the price is worked out for you. Each tour page shows the minimum age, and some tours are for adults only.

Comfortable sports or hiking shoes with good grip, sunscreen, a hat and insect repellent. On waterfall tours, bring a swimsuit and towel. Each tour page lists exactly what to bring.
