We had a wonderful hiking experience with Priska on the short loop of Tamarind Falls. She was very friendly and supportive, she really instilled confidence in me as I can get nervous when there's difficult footing but I always felt very safe. She also took some lovely photos of us. I would also highly recommend the walk itself, it was definitely a high reward to effort ratio with stunning regular views of the waterfalls and forest as we descended.

We had an incredible hiking experience with Dan in Mauritius! Our group of three friends from the USA, Germany, and Italy explored the jungle, crossed rivers, and even went down the stunning Tamarind Falls. Dan made the whole adventure unforgettable—he was super knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, had amazing energy, and made us feel completely safe the entire time. His friendly and upbeat attitude added so much to the experience. This hike was hands down one of the highlights of our trip. We’d 150% recommend Dan to anyone visiting Mauritius! This man is fantastic. Thanks Dan for a beautiful day. 🙏👍

Super expérience avec Thomson Adventures ! Nous avons fait la version courte des 7 cascades avec Priska, une guide formidable, et toujours soucieuse de notre sécurité et de notre rythme. La rando était magnifique, on a adoré du début à la fin !

Lors de notre séjour à Maurice nous avions fait appel à Thompson adventures pour 2 randonnées, les 7 cascades (plus que magique, notre guide était génial et a beaucoup contribué à la réussite de la journée, car faire cette randonnée avec un enfant de 7 ans un lendemain de pluie n’est pas de tout repos) et le parc des gorges de rivière noire. Merci à eux pour leur professionnalisme et leur gentillesse !

Dan is one of the best guides I have ever met. And I met quoite a few around the world. We bonded instantly, and i enjoyed every minute being togethet. I can definitely call him my Mauritian friend! <3

From the first moment the contact with Daniel was so lovely and personal. The hikes are private or with one other couple. Daniel makes time to explain some things about the history and nature, he is funny and tell you exactly where to go. After the 7 waterfalls hike we we’re so excited, that we would like to do another hike, unfortunately we got sick and we have to reschedule. Daniel was so kind, that we could come when we’re better. So we did! What an experience, we climb to the Alexandra Falls and did some muddy hike to a hidden waterfall. Daniel priories safety, so we feel very safe, also when the climb was toff. The time we spend with Daniel was so much fun and he makes a lot of beautiful pictures, knows the best spots and you can see he is really enjoying it himself. So, if you have any doubts about hiking with a hike, don’t. If we have do it ourselves we would be lost in de jungle , I guess. We give it a 10+! Greetz from the Netherlands!

Daniel is een hele vriendelijke en zeer ervaren gids. Hij vertelt veel over de natuur, planten en kruiden. De tocht langs zeven watervallen is goed te doen, zeker als je zijn pad goed volgt. Zorg voor goed schoeisel (niet wit..). Prachtige uitzichten over de watervallen, en je kan ook op sommige plekken zwemmen. Absoluut een aanrader.

Wir hatten drei Wanderungen mit Dan. Wir hatten super viel Spaß. Besonders die Wasserfälle haben uns beeindruckt. Wir waren mit zwei 6-jährigen unterwegs, worauf viel Rücksicht genommen wurde. Wir haben so viel gesehen, atemberaubende Natur und einzigartige Orte. Gerne hätten wir alle Touren gemacht, hoffentlich beim nächsten Mal. Danke für die schönen Momente! Und auch vielen Dank für die zahlreichen Tips für Ausflüge mit den Kindern.

We did the 7 Waterfalls hike with Priska and Dan. They are a great Team - always helpfull when you need to cross the River or in some special parts of the way - we felt very safe. We had good chats and they also took a lot of nice pictures of us, which was very nice. We really recommend to get "Thomson Adventures" for that hike, because you don't have to worry about getting lost during the hike and can enjoy the beautiful nature.

We had an awesome tour with Priska, Daniel and their lovely kids. My little boy is still telling stories about the trip and we are back home for several months! We trusted Thomson Adventures after reading several reviews. We did the half day tour visiting 5 waterfalls. I must say that I was fully satisfied: as a tour, as a treatment and as an organization. Honest prices with kind and helpful guides, definitely recommended.

Nous avons fait deux sorties avec Dan, on a monté le morne et on est allés voir une cascade que lui seul avait découvert. On a réussi à plonger dans la coulée de la cascade, chacun son tour en toute sécurité, ce fut une super expérience. Dan nous a fait de super vidéos dans des endroits où nous pouvions pas aller ! Merci encore pour la découverte et pour ta sympathie à très bientôt !!

We did the 7 Waterfalls Short Loop with Priska and it was a great experience ! She showed us many interesting things and photo points around these waterfalls. It was possible to shift the tour because of bad weather on short term to the next day which is a perfect service. Thanks for that unforgettable walk !

Fantasy falls. Tout commence par un sentier normal pour accéder au "sentier de Dan." Lui seul connaît le sentier.. il est oùcr sentier ?? Une descente incroyable. On se tient aux racines pour descendre et remonter . Une expérience incroyable. Dan nous guide bien , nous dit où poser les pieds. En 17 fois à l ile maurice je n avais jamais fait une randonnée aussi dépaysante et incroyable pour arriver à une cascade non touristique et formidable. Merci Dan et Priska.

Nous avons juste fair la randonnée des 4 cascades avec Amelia. C'était une très bonne guide, nous avons passé un très bon moment. Et en plus c'est une bonne photographe !

Un grand merci à Dan pour toutes ses découvertes magiques et enrichissantes. Randonnées plaisirs, sport et tout en sécurité. On a bien rit, on a aimé toutes ses découvertes pleines de savoir grâce à Dan qui nous a appris beaucoup de choses. On en a pris pleins les yeux avec des vues à couper le souffle, des cascades magnifiques, des anecdotes et fous rires qu'on est pas prêt d'oublier. Si y'a bien une personne a qui vous pouvez faire confiance c'est Dan et également sa femme Pryska. Ils sont tout deux passionnées et amoureux de la nature et de leur île. Je vous recommande Dan et Pryska vous ne pourrez être que ravis de vos sorties. Chaque sortie a été un bonheur, nous avions hâte chaque jour de recevoir la prochaine destination car nous savions déjà que notre journée serait parfaite. Hâte du prochain voyage pour découvrir encore d'autres choses magnifiques. Si vous souhaitez de la gentillesse, de l'humour, des paysages de route, de la sécurité, des découvertes insolites il faut voir Dan et Pryska. MERCI du fond du cœur Dan pour ses jours rando avec toi, ce fut un vrai honneur de te connaître. On reviendra et cette fois avec les enfants pour de nouvelles aventures encore plus folle. Nous avons fait confiance à Dan Thomson pour la petite randonnée des 7 Cascades ainsi que pour celle du Morne. Nous étions avec nos 2 enfants et avions besoin d’être guidés. Dan et sa femme Prisca ont été nos anges gardiens ! Sérieux et professionnels mais aussi très drôles et accueillants ! Je recommande à 100 %

We did the 4 stop tour of the 7 waterfalls today with Dan and his daughter Amelie. It was an absolute pleasure and 3 hours which we won‘t forget. Dan speaks perfect english and knows the area and some hidden magical places very well. Very Professional and heartily! Best regards from the german couple with the cute car :)

We made thec7 cascades with Dan Thomson. It was just perfect. Dan is the best guid you can find He is very proffessional, very kind and full of patience. He will match the track to your needs and level and you will feel 100%safe and fun. He has many tracking offers with fair prices. He is most mosy recommanded

Absolutely incredible experience ! Our guide was great she knew where to go and took it at the pace we wanted. Manage to get some great pictures and even go for a much needed swim to cool down. We did the 4 waterfalls it was perfect ! Highly recommend booking with these guys it’s a perfect day out
